Israr Ahmad is a remote sensing and geospatial data specialist with a Master’s in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from LIESMARS, Wuhan University. His expertise includes multi-satellite data integration, machine learning for environmental monitoring, and geospatial analysis. He has contributed to global sustainability efforts through research on forest aboveground biomass mapping. With experience in Python, R, and Google Earth Engine, he has worked on projects in crop detection, deforestation analysis, and demographic visualization. Israr has held roles in research, business development, and academic leadership, earning multiple awards and scholarships. He has joined WCS as a GIS Analyst where he leverages his expertise in remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and multi-satellite data integration to support climate monitoring, environmental assessments, and data-driven solutions for climate resilience.
