Muhammad Jafar Qaisar

I am currently working as a Research Assistant and GIS Analyst at Weather and Climate Services (Pvt.) Ltd., Islamabad, Pakistan. Previously, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from University of Peshawar, Pakistan. My research primarily intersects the field of specializing in climate data analysis, geospatial processing and Hydrological Modelling. Experienced in exploring, cleaning, managing, and analyzing meteorological datasets including precipitation, temperature and humidity. Proficient in ArcGIS and Python for spatial analysis and visualization, with validation and cross-comparison of results using Google Earth Engine (GEE) and regional datasets. Strong focus on data accuracy, reproducibility, and climate data quality assessment. Having experience in hydrological modelling, constantly experience the impacts of climate change on glacier melt and the impact of glacier melting on Stream flows and floods. I am actively involved in these areas and contributing through publications, research papers and reports.
