Imran Ul haq is a Research Associate at WCS – Weather and Climate Services Pakistan. He completed his MPhil in Computer Science from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, in February 2024, where his research focused on deep learning–based analysis of Whole Slide Images for multi-class cancer detection. He holds a BS in Software Engineering from the University of Malakand and has a strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and computational modeling.
At WCS, Imran applies artificial intelligence and data-driven methodologies to climate and weather datasets, supporting predictive modeling, trend analysis, and climate risk assessment initiatives.
His research interests include climate informatics, AI-driven environmental modeling, extreme event prediction, and the application of machine learning for sustainable climate resilience.
