Wardah Kayani is a development practitioner focused on researching and developing solutions for climate change adaptation and mitigation in the Global South. With an undergraduate degree in Development Studies, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Climate Change, where her research focuses on Environmental Identities and Sustainable Consumption in South Asia. Wardah is also part of the DAAD-funded project led by the Department of Spatial Planning at Technische Universität Dortmund, exploring the cross-cultural perceptions of urban and rural landscapes and cultural heritage in Germany and Pakistan. She has been active in the development sector for the past four years, working in the areas of sustainable infrastructure development, environmental protection, poverty alleviation and migration.
