Following the 2022 floods in Pakistan, Fateh was sensitised to the climate change challenge and endeavoured to become a part of the effort to overcome climate crisis. This enthusiasm led him to work at WCS as an intern where his primary research focuses on the correlations between historical patterns of inequity such as colonialism and contemporary climate vulnerability in Pakistan and other countries that were victims of colonialism. His work as an intern focuses on content writing to make climate change related knowledge accessible and easy to understand. Furthermore, he also focuses on developing skills in programming by collaborating with the data science team and to understand the technicalities underlying climate modelling tools. His future interests are in sustainable development through practices such as Circular Economy and how such practices can be incentivized in the business world.
